Fourth of July weekend

We had a pretty relaxing 4th of July weekend....trying to stay cool! Saturday we hung out with Les and Alex, pretty much the whole day. Just chilling. Saturday night cousin Kelli was in town from San Diego with her friend Tyler and they ended up coming over to moms house for dinner. As always, it's great to see Kelli. She's so fun, we had a great night! Les and I were really craving a cold beer so we had Alex and Erik get us some O'Douls. Cheers!




Sunday, 4th of July we had two bbq's to go to....first stop was Erin and Charlie's house. It was so hot that day! It was a pretty low key party....girls hanging out talking girl talk inside around the food (3 of us are prego;) and guys and kids swimming outside. It was fun to see Erin's new house and catch up on what's been going on.

Next stop, Gg and Poppie's house. It was kind of sad because Halle and Costa were the only kids there that day! We were missing Justy, Belles, Xander, Tatym and Uncle Luke. Everybody was out of town. It felt SO weird without all the kiddos! We of course enjoyed our family, but the kids were missing their cousins and uncle. We got back to Grandma Dottie's that night just in time to see some fireworks! The kids kept talking about how they wanted to see them so I'm happy we made it home in time. They really enjoyed watching them!






















I really miss washington on 4th of July.....I love it here and our families are here I just miss being at the lake in Spokane and being able to light our own fireworks...and of course SPARKLERS! Halle and Costa are at the perfect ages and I know they would absolutely love them! But, most of all I know that holidays are meant to be with family and hopefully we are creating wonderful memories for them by surrounding them with the ones that love them most! Happy 4th of July!
