Welcome home Uncle Luke!

The kids and I were so excited to be here to welcome Uncle Luke home back to arizona! It worked out that we got to stay in arizona a little bit longer because we're getting to spend sometime with loved ones we otherwise wouldn't have got to see this trip. Uncle Luke and also Uncle Jeff, Auntie Nisa, Kaitlyn, Reece and Ally that are here visiting from Virginia! Although we miss daddy terribly, we are having fun with family.

Uncle Luke's first night home we picked him up at the airport and then went straight to Spaghetti Factory for dinner. Also one of Luke's favorites. Must run in the family! The kids were super excited to see him and so was I! It's sometimes still so crazy to me that I have an 11 year old brother and he's my kids uncle. It's lots of fun, though!

July 15th was Luke's 11th birthday. So happy we were here with him to celebrate it! Mom made him taco soup for dinner, at his request and I baked him a strawberry cake. Alex, Les, Libby and the girls came over too. Mom and I ended up having a house full that night! Luke's friend Mitchell, Justy and Belles all had a slumber party with us! Craziness. I'm so glad Hallers finally got to have a sleepover with her cousins....she'd been asking me since we got here over a month ago! The boys were crazy that night dressed up as robbers playing with toy guns mom had bought them that day. They had lots of fun chasing and scaring the girls. There was lots of screaming that night! It was obnoxious but we just let them have fun. They were just too cute.

A few nights later we went to dinner at Buca Di Beppo to celebrate Luke, Mom and Costa's birthdays~all in July! The kids were super excited about the yummy free brownie you get for your birthday! And Costa was all about the birthday sign and wanted us to ask the waitress to bring one to our table. So funny! We had lots of fun that night.

We are still here in arizona and having lots of fun with our family so there will be more stories to come!
